Get ready!

The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested young people, ages 8 - 17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.

More than 2.4 million Young Eagles have enjoyed a flight through the program. Young Eagles have been registered in more than 90 different countries and have been flown by more than 42,000 volunteer pilots

Our chapter typically organizes several Special Event Young Eagle Rallies per year. Please reach out to our Chapter Youth Coordinators for assistance hosting your Youth Group. We have a Monthly Young Eagles Series on the 3rd Saturday. Weather can sometimes play into having to cancel or rescheduling a YE rally, please be sure to visit EAA Chapters or our Facebook page for up to date information for each rally and don’t forget to scroll down for an updated YE calendar.

We will be providing a limited number of Young Eagle Flights every 3rd Saturday at KIPJ. Slots are limited, ages 8-17, first come first serve, and all flights are dependent on weather and pilot availability.

IMPORTANT: Online Registrations are open for only a limited time! First Come, First Served. On-Site registrations for some Rallys ayy be limited. All registrations must be submitted online prior to the flight.
